Just imagine how proud the Vatel Mauritius's team and family of Mr. Vashist Mungur are when we receive such an email. Attitude, discipline and efforts are characteristics that this young man has acquired and continuously applied until today. We are proud of you and wish you success.
Email from Mr. Vashisht Mungur:
Dear Mr. Azema,
Greetings from chilly Kuwait!
I am writing to you this email because I recently signed my new promotion as the head of Guest Experience of Four Seasons Hotel Kuwait at Burj Alshaya!
I still remember my first day in 2013 when I did not have much confidence and was not so sure what I wanted to achieve in life. However, I believe joining Vatel was the best decision I made in my professional life as well as I am sure it was destiny.
I would never have been able to land an internship in Four Seasons Mauritius if it wasn't for the practical opportunity our university was giving. Even before graduating for my bachelor's degree, I was already hired in FS Mauritius as Supervisor in Training in Guest Experience in 2015 and after just a year I moved to the pre-opening of FS Kuwait as full time employee.
It's been exactly one year since the hotel officially opened and thanks to the skills I have acquired, I managed to earn the trust of the higher management and I am now handling my own team of guest experience agents. Even though I am only 24 and do not have an extreme amount of experience, my attitude and skills helped to boost me up in this competitive market.
Even though FS Kuwait is considered to attract more Arabic guests, we actually receive a lot of French guests and other European businessmen as Kuwait is one of the richest countries in the world.
I just wanted to thank you again for everything and I look forward to gain even more experience and move forward.
Now that I've conquered a GCC country, I look forward to pave my way into Asia.
No matter where I travel to, I will never forget my humble beginnings and my memories of Vatel will always be with me!
